The “Entrepreneurs for Peace” Foundation has delivered two ground drones to Ukraine’s 26th Artillery Brigade, intended for the evacuation of wounded soldiers from the battlefield. These enable remote evacuation, without exposing soldiers to additional risk who would otherwise be forced to go and retrieve the wounded. This delivery is a continuation of the foundation’s long-standing cooperation with the brigade, which began at the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion.

Since the start of the war, the fund has regularly supplied the brigade with vehicles, technical equipment and other items necessary for carrying out day-to-day tasks. Close cooperation and direct communication with the soldiers enable us to understand the situation at the front and tailor our support to current needs.

As the nature of warfare changes, technologies that help to protect human lives are becoming increasingly important. The constant presence of enemy unmanned aerial vehicles makes movement near the front line particularly dangerous, including the evacuation of the wounded. Ground-based unmanned platforms enable some of these tasks to be carried out remotely, reducing the risk to rescue crews and increasing the chances of getting the wounded to safety in good time.

Long-term cooperation with specific Ukrainian military units plays a key role in the work of the “Entrepreneurs for Peace” Foundation. This helps to ensure that donors’ support is used in a targeted manner and that soldiers receive exactly the equipment they need most at any given time.
